How long is the launch offer of OKYC valid for?

1. The offer starts from 15th Nov and is valid till 15th Dec.

2. Once you registered on OKYC during the offer period the offer pricing will be applicable on your account.

Pricing may affect, subjecting to market changes.

I want to use both Payment Gateway and Payouts. Do I need to create separate accounts?

You can use all Cashfree products using a single account. You can share your requirement at the time of the first call with the payment expert. Once started, if you want to activate other Cashfree products, you can talk to your Account Manager to activate the desired products on your account.

Terms & Conditions for Shark Tank Season 2 applicants

1. Free Credits - All Shark Tank Season 2 applicants (companies who have successfully registered to pitch on Shark Tank season 2) will receive ₹ 5 Lakh worth of Free Credits on Payment Gateway and Payouts, on successful sign-up on Cashfree Payments from 15th June 2022. This implies that these companies will be able to process ₹ 5 Lakh worth of transactions, ₹ 3 Lakh on Payment Gateway and ₹ 2 Lakh on Payouts, without paying any transaction fees.

2. The free credits are valid from 15th June 2022 till 31st December 2022.

3. Standard Terms & Conditions for usage of Cashfree Payments solutions apply. Cashfree Payments reserves the right to moderate the Terms & Conditions without any prior notice.

• Copyright unlocking devices which include mod chips or other devices designed to circumvent copyright protection

• Copyrighted media which includes unauthorised copies of books, music, movies, and other licensed or protected materials

• Copyrighted software which includes unauthorised copies of software, video games and other licensed or protected materials, including OEM or bundled software

• Counterfeit and unauthorised goods which include replicas or imitations of designer goods; items without a celebrity endorsement that would normally require such an association, fake autographs, counterfeit stamps, and other potentially unauthorised goods

• Drugs and drug paraphernalia which include illegal drugs and drug accessories, including herbal drugs like salvia and magic mushrooms

• Drug test circumvention aids which include drug cleansing shakes, urine test additives, and related items

• Endangered species which include plants, animals, or other organisms (including plant and animal derivatives) in danger of extinction

• Gaming/gambling which includes lottery tickets, sports bets, memberships/enrolment in online gambling sites, and related content

• Offensive goods, a crime which includes crime scene photos or items, such as personal belongings associated with criminals

• Prescription drugs or herbal drugs or any kind of online pharmacies which include drugs or other products requiring a prescription by a licensed medical practitioner

• Pyrotechnic devices and hazardous materials which include fireworks and related goods, toxic, flammable, and radioactive materials and substances

• Regulated goods which include airbags, batteries containing mercury, Freon or similar substances/refrigerants, chemical/industrial solvents, government uniforms, car titles or logos, licence plates, police badges, law enforcement equipment, lock-picking devices, pesticides, postage metres, recalled items, slot machines, surveillance equipment, goods regulated by government or other agency specifications

• Securities, which include stocks, bonds, or related financial products

• Tobacco which includes cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, and related products

• Traffic devices which include radar detectors/jammers, licence plate covers, traffic signal changers, and related products

• Weapons which include firearms, ammunition, knives, brass knuckles, gun parts, and other armaments

• Wholesale currency which includes discounted currencies or currency exchanges.

• Live animals or hides/skins/teeth, nails, and other parts, etc of animals

• Multi-Level Marketing collection fees

• Any product or service which is not in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations whether union, state, local, or international including the laws of India

• The Merchant shall not sell, purchase, provide or exchange a cardholder’s name or MasterCard/Visa account number information in any form obtained by reason

• MasterCard/Visa Card transaction to any third party other than its MasterCard/Visa acquiring Member-Citrus Pay, or pursuant to a government/statutory or competent body’s request

I have a dropshipping business. Can I use Cashfree to accept online payments?

As a policy, at the moment, Cashfree does not support drop shipping related businesses.

What are the terms and conditions for Amazon Pay offer for Payouts merchants?

Cashfree Payments supports payouts to your recipient using different payout methods. Currently, the following payout methods are supported:

• Bank transfers

• Card transfers

• UPI

• Wallets (including Amazon Pay)

You can do a payout to any of the above payout methods depending on your recipient’s preference. Wallet payouts can be made at all times, including weekends and holidays. With instant payouts, you can immediately send funds to all available wallet accounts. Amazon Pay as a popular payout method

Payouts merchants can do payouts to beneficiaries via Amazon Pay Gift Cards(APGC). Businesses are using AmazonPay as a payout method for use-cases like cashback, customer refunds, and incentives to sales and other agents, among other use cases.

Limited time offer for merchants using Payouts or Cashgram:

• Unlimited number of Payouts, when you send money via Amazon Pay at ZERO cost.

• Additionally, for Payouts made to Amazon Pay Gift Card, you get 1% discount on the amount disbursed. For example, when you disburse ₹100 to a recipient using Amazon Pay Gift Card as a payout method, you pay Cashfree Payments Zero charges on the Payout. Additionally, Amazon Pay will give a 1% Cashback of the value of the payout i.e ₹1.

Follow the steps to check out the experience using Amazon Pay as disbursal mode for Payouts merchants:

Step 1: Login to your Cashfree Merchant Account

Step 2: Now choose Payouts

Step 3: On Payouts Dashboard, click on Transfers and then click on the Quick Transfer button, enter the beneficiary ID and specify the transfer mode as Amazon Pay, enter the amount and click on confirm. As the transaction is completed successfully, the beneficiary will get notified via an SMS.

Note: The beneficiary addition happens instantly and the details saved can be used for subsequent transfers.

How to avail the offer for your Payouts Account?

• Existing Cashfree Payouts and Cashgram merchants: Amazon Pay works seamlessly with your existing Payouts & Cashgram integration. To enable Amazon Pay as a payment option, get in touch with your Cashfree Account Manager. For any queries fill out the Support Form with the subject line “ Amazon Pay as Payout method”.

• Merchant not active on Payouts or Cashgram: Visit the Cashfree Payments Merchant Dashboard and select Payouts or Cashgram and click on Activate.

Once you create an account, you need to verify your email ID, update all the details, and upload the scanned copies of the required documents

Our payment expert will call you within 12 working hours of account creation to understand your requirement. Do make sure that you have updated the right contact details so that the payment expert can reach you. Your account will be activated within 24-48 working hours once all documents are verified.

Using Cashfree Test account

Add merchants directly on your partner dashboard

2. Click on ‘Add merchants’ and fill all the required details

Onboarding process of referred merchants

Once you`ve added the merchants, Cashfree will notify the merchant to accept the invite & verify their email ID. The merchant will be required to submit the business details and upload the required documents.

To make the merchant onboarding quicker, you can also submit business details of your merchants and upload the required documents on your merchants’ behalf in these simple steps:

1. Click on the Activate option shown for your merchant entries in the partner dashboard

2. You would be directed to the merchant account activation page where you can fill all required business details of your referred merchant and upload their business documents

3. In case the merchants dont verify their mail IDs, you can also resend the verification email to them by clicking on Resend verification email’

Please note: This Activate option will only be shown for those merchants who have verified their email address

Partner commissions

By becoming a Cashfree partner, you can offer your clients a complete suite of online payments related products to manage their entire payment lifecycle and earn lucrative commissions. There are two types of commission structures:

1. Flat rate

2. Percentage of the transaction value

Calculating your commission

Commission as a flat rate

Lets assume that youre an e-commerce automation platform and you help e-commerce businesses in converting COD orders to pre-paid . Lets say one of your clients, ABC Ltd..,collects ₹10,000 using Cashfree and you have offered Cashfrees payment gateway to your ABC Ltd. at a markup of ₹100 over Cashfree`s base rate of 3% (Minimum amount that would go to Cashfree).

Commission settlement process

In case of Payment Gateway colections, when any customer makes a transaction on your referred merchant`s website/app and the amount is settled to Cashfree, the commission on that transaction is reflected on your partner dashboard.

In case of Payout disbursals, when your referred merchant makes a payout for vendor payments, processing refunds or disbursing loans etc. using Cashfree, the commission on that transaction is reflected on your partner dashboard.

Here’s how you can initiate your commission settlement process:

On the first day of every month, calculate and create an invoice for the commission amount receivable for the previous month. i.e on 1st June,2021, create an invoice for the commission receivable for May. You can obtain details of the commission from your partner dashboard The invoice you create should have your companys & Cashfrees GSTN, and amount details Send this invoice to [e-mail] at the beginning of every month Please note: You will be able to claim your commission only if your partner KYC is complete and the commission structure is configured on your Cashfree partner account.

Track your earnings

1. Navigate to Partner Dashboard > Summary to check total daily transactions and daily transaction volume

How to resolve the signature mismatch error?

At the time of initiating a payment if you see “signature mismatch” error, it could be due to any of the two reasons -

1. You have entered incorrect credentials (appId/secret key) - for test or production

2. The parameters (orderId, order amount etc) are incorrect or missing

Whenever you encounter a signature mismatch error go back to the payment page and follow the below steps to debug this further. See the video below for more details.

• Right-click on the page and select inspect

• Go to the Network tab and check both the options Preserve log and Disable cache

• Make sure to clear the network activity section before proceeding

• Click on Payment button (to make the payment)

• Once you click on the payment button, you will see a submit document being added to the network activity area

• Click on submit (doc) and scroll down, you will see the form data which specifies your appId, orderId, signature, etc

How can I start using Cashfree?

To get started with Cashfree, please follow the below steps:

Visit the Cashfree website, click on Create account, and complete your profile. You can learn more about our account creation process here. Now, log in to the merchant home page using your credentials. Please note by default, you will be in the production environment. Click on Switch to Test to access the test environment. Are there any specific businesses that are not supported by Cashfree?

As a business policy, Cashfree does not support businesses that deal in certain prohibited items (listed below). If your business deals in any such items, Cashfree Payment Gateway account will not be activated in such a scenario.
